The England national football team fell victim to crime in Kansas City, Missouri, shortly before settling into their training base for the 2026 World Cup. Equipment designated for the Three Lions was stolen from transport vehicles, prompting an investigation by multiple law enforcement agencies.

Kansas City Mayor Quinton Lucas confirmed that local, state, and federal authorities are actively investigating the incident. The theft occurred sometime between the team's road transport from Florida and their arrival at the Swope Soccer Village training facility on Saturday. Reports indicate that stolen items include footballs and boots.
