Epixlore and Bandung Explore Host Time Trial Ahead of BDG Ultra Race

Epixlore, in collaboration with the Bandung Explore community, hosted the Epixlore Time Trial Road to BDG Ultra at Bumi Herbal Dago in Bandung. This event served as a preparatory stage for the upcoming BDG100 Ultra, scheduled for August 28-29, 2026.

The time trial attracted 90 runners from various communities, aiming to test their physical readiness for the main race and foster connections among trail runners in Bandung. Andre Firmansyah, owner of Epixlore, stated that the registration fee of Rp 8,100 per participant would be entirely donated to the Bumi Herbal Dago management for the upkeep of the approximately one-kilometer running trail.

"We want this time trial to become more popular among runners as a training ground before races and also as a platform for fellowship, both among individuals and communities," Andre said. He emphasized that all registration fees would support the maintenance of the course.

Beyond its functional concept, the Epixlore Time Trial offered distinctive prizes. The fastest male runner received a goat as the grand prize, while the female winner earned Rp 1 million in cash and a Rp 500,000 voucher from Epixlore. Epixlore plans to continue organizing similar events to build the trail running ecosystem in Bandung.
