Equitation Competition Concludes at Acá Carayá

The Regimiento de Caballería 4 “Acá Carayá” recently concluded a successful three-day Complete Equitation Competition, drawing skilled riders and enthusiasts. The event, which spanned Dressage on Friday, Cross Country on Saturday, and Jumping on Sunday, showcased the equestrian talent in various categories. Originally postponed due to weather, the competition finally took place at the impressive Acá Carayá grounds, crowning champions across different levels. Ricardo Schweitzer, Alexia Báez, and Leticia León emerged as top performers in the Media Estrella, Debutantes, and Escuela categories, respectively. This competition is part of a broader effort by the Paraguayan Equestrian Federation (Fedepa) to foster the growth of this equestrian discipline, particularly the Cross Country component. The federation sees this as a crucial step in preparing a potential Paraguayan delegation for the XXI Pan American Games scheduled for 2031.
