Event organizer reveals key factors for business event success

Businesses now increasingly view events as crucial investments in relationships with employees, partners, and clients. This perspective shift means organizers are dedicating more attention not only to the event's program but also to the environment where it unfolds. Data from a 2026 survey by the international event management platform Cvent, which polled over 1,650 professional event organizers, supports this trend.

The survey revealed that nearly half (48%) of respondents opt for non-traditional event spaces. The primary drivers for this choice are the venues' better adaptability to different formats (41%), the potential to create a superior participant experience (35%), and a more favorable price-value ratio (34%).

Newer business centers are designed to accommodate diverse event formats in a single location. For instance, the business center "Sąvaržėlė" in Vilnius offers adaptable spaces suitable for small executive meetings, larger conferences, or corporate events. The market primarily sees events for 50–150 participants, balancing quality content with active engagement and a reasonable budget. Smaller events for 20–50 people, focused on discussions and personal connections, are also growing, while large-scale conferences for hundreds remain significant but occur less frequently.

Grigaitienė notes an increase in venue options in Vilnius but highlights a lack of versatile, multifunctional spaces that can easily adapt to various event formats. Many companies now seek venues with natural daylight, recognizing its significant impact on attendee well-being, especially during extended conferences or training sessions. This feature has become a key criterion in venue selection.
