Ex-Health Minister Adham Baba to contest Pasir Raja seat in Johor polls

Former Health Minister Datuk Seri Dr. Adham Baba has made a surprising return to politics, announcing his candidacy for the Pasir Raja state seat in the upcoming Johor state elections. The announcement came as a shock to many, given his previous high-profile role.

Adham's nomination was revealed by Datuk Onn Hafiz Ghazi, the Chairman of Barisan Nasional (BN) Johor, during the BN Candidate Announcement Ceremony held at the Main Hall of the Johor State UMNO Liaison Body Office in Johor Bahru. The event marked a significant moment for the party as it unveiled its lineup for the state polls.

Adham Baba, who also holds the position of Tenggara UMNO Division Chief, has a prior history in national politics. He previously served as a Member of Parliament, bringing a wealth of experience to his new bid for a state legislative seat.
