Ex-police chief backs Tinubu's re-election bid at Abia movement rally

Former Inspector-General of Police, Mike Okiro, has officially endorsed the CityBoy Movement, a group supporting President Bola Tinubu, during a visit to its Abia State headquarters. Okiro commended the movement's patron, Seyi Tinubu, for establishing the platform, describing it as a significant step toward strengthening grassroots mobilization and political participation in Nigeria.

Received by the State Director of the CityBoy Movement, Abia State Chapter, Lucky Igbokwe, Okiro expressed his support for President Tinubu's administration. He urged the movement's members and supporters to remain committed to the President's political agenda and to actively work towards securing his re-election in the 2027 general elections.

Igbokwe echoed Okiro's sentiments, applauding Seyi Tinubu's vision for the CityBoy Movement and thanking the former IGP for his support. He also recognized the leadership of the movement's Director-General, Francis Shoga, and other national executive members for their efforts in expanding the organization across the country.
