Tangerang Regency, Banten, experienced a surge of 11 open land fires across various locations on Thursday, July 23. The fires impacted areas including grasslands, garbage disposal sites, and waste containment areas, according to the Tangerang Regency Regional Disaster Mitigation Agency (BPBD).
