F1 Bahrain GP in Malaysia: Three-Day Tickets Start at RM200 for MyKad Holders

Malaysian motorsport enthusiasts have the opportunity to witness the Formula 1 Bahrain Grand Prix at the Sepang International Circuit from October 2 to 4. Special three-day ticket packages are available, starting at RM200 for Malaysian citizens holding a MyKad.

According to the official Bahrain GP website, MyKad holders are eligible for special rates across six seating categories. The most affordable option is Hillstand G at RM200, while Hillstand B and C are priced at RM809.60 each. For grandstand seats, tickets cost RM1,291.40 for Grandstand F, RM1,386 for Grandstand K1, and RM2,083.40 for the Main Grandstand. The Main Grandstand, K1, and F offer covered seating and viewing areas, whereas Hillstand B, C, and G are open, grassy areas.

These special rates are exclusively for MyKad holders, with a verification process in place. Transactions will be processed in Bahraini dinars at the prevailing exchange rate. Discounted tickets that do not match a valid MyKad or meet eligibility criteria will be canceled.

Children aged three to six receive a 25% discount, excluding Hillstand G. Children under three can enter for free without a dedicated seat. Meanwhile, international ticket prices are significantly higher, with three-day passes listed online at $565.40 for the Main Grandstand, $376.20 for Grandstand K1, and $350.90 for Grandstand F, while Hillstand B and C tickets are $220 each.

Bernama reported that high demand from Malaysian fans has caused temporary disruptions to online ticket purchases. The organizers are working to improve the online buying experience and advise fans to follow their social media channels for the latest updates on ticket availability. Despite the online issues, tickets can still be purchased through the Bahrain GP call center at +973 1745 0000.
