Buenos Aires, Argentina – The streets of Buenos Aires are set to roar with the sound of Formula 1 history this Sunday as Argentine driver Franco Colapinto takes the wheel of a 2012 E20 car. This special exhibition event, traversing a 2-kilometer urban circuit along Avenida del Libertador and Avenida Sarmiento in Palermo, represents more than just a demonstration drive; it's a deeply personal dream realized for Colapinto and a significant moment for Argentine motorsport enthusiasts.

Colapinto, who currently competes in F1 with Alpine, expressed his profound excitement about bringing this experience to his home country. "It gives me a lot of energy and creates something very beautiful in my body, this opportunity, it's something I really wanted to bring to Argentines," he stated at a press conference. The chosen car, an E20 from the 2012 season previously raced by Lotus-Renault, offers a nostalgic glimpse into F1 before the current hybrid era. Powered by a 2.4-liter Renault RS27 V8 engine capable of reaching 18,000 rpm and delivering around 750 horsepower, the car embodies a raw, visceral F1 experience that resonates with fans who appreciate the mechanical symphony of naturally aspirated engines.
