Family and followers bid final farewell to influencer Paola Márquez; state prosecutor's office keeps investigation open

The community of Huichihuayán in San Luis Potosí gathered to mourn and bid a final farewell to influencer Paola Márquez, who was found dead in her home over the weekend. A funeral Mass was held at the local parish, followed by a procession to the municipal cemetery.

Family, friends, and numerous followers accompanied the young influencer on her final journey. Many attendees wore T-shirts featuring her image, sharing memories and paying tribute to the impact she had on those around her. The procession was marked by banda music and fireworks, reflecting the affection many held for Márquez.

The State Prosecutor General, María Manuela García Cázares, stated that the investigation into Márquez's death is ongoing. While suicide is being considered as a line of inquiry, she noted that there are currently no indications of foul play or criminal activity. The prosecutor's office is obligated to investigate all possibilities, including homicide, before concluding the cause of death.
