Farmers' choir wins Britain's Got Talent, supported by Jeremy Clarkson

The Hawkstone Farmers' Choir, composed of farmers, has achieved a historic victory by winning the television show Britain's Got Talent. This marks the first time a choir has won the competition. The group's formation was spearheaded by Jeremy Clarkson, a well-known television host and farm owner, who aimed to provide support for farmers struggling with mental health challenges.

The choir, established last year, originated from a humorous advertising campaign for the Hawkstone brewery. Dozens of farmers were selected to participate in the audition. In the final, they outperformed the drone show team Celestial and Anastasiia, who performed with her dog Salsa.

One choir member stated, "We dedicate this victory to all farmers and everyone else facing mental health issues. These are no longer taboo, and if you are not feeling well, speak about it." The winning song was an original composition titled "This is Home."

Clarkson, who attended the final performance, was a strong supporter of the choir. "He was our biggest fan," said choir members. Judge Simon Cowell described their performance as "absolutely stunning and heartfelt." Several members shared that the choir significantly improved their mental well-being, fostering connection and allowing them to share personal experiences and life challenges.

The choir will receive 250,000 pounds and perform at the Royal Variety Show, a charity event supporting the Royal Variety Charity under King Charles III. The singers celebrated their win with Clarkson, who has documented farm life in his series "Clarkson's Farm."
