Budianto, the owner of the account and Director of PT Bina Tani Makmur Jombang, explained the motivation behind this unique transportation solution. The company operates plantations in the area, and the drone was introduced to facilitate access to agricultural land that lacks conventional road infrastructure, particularly for irrigation purposes.

The drone itself represents a significant investment, with Budianto stating that each unit costs between 320 million and 350 million Indonesian rupiah (approximately $20,000 to $22,000 USD). This technological approach highlights an innovative response to logistical challenges faced in remote or inaccessible farming areas, demonstrating a commitment to overcoming obstacles in agricultural operations.
