Kuala Nerus, Malaysia – A devastating house fire in Kampung Tok Jembal claimed the lives of a father and his young son, who were found tragically embracing each other amidst the wreckage. The blaze, which erupted around 2 a.m., trapped Amirul Fahmi Wan Jusoh, 40, and his 9-year-old son, Rehan Yusof, inside their home.

Deputy Director Mohd Shahrin Yusmar Mat Yusof confirmed that two victims were found dead on the upper floor, their bodies discovered in an embrace. The operation concluded at 8:40 a.m., and the scene was handed over to the police. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
