Fauna Town Opens a New Veterinary Clinic Opposite the Abasto Market

Fauna Town has opened a new veterinary clinic at the Fortis site opposite Paraguay’s Mercado Central de Abasto, expanding access to animal healthcare in the area. The company says the location will bring professional veterinary services closer to families, residents and traders near the market.

The clinic provides routine consultations, vaccinations, preventive care plans, nutritional advice and a full veterinary pharmacy. The site also includes a pet shop stocked with premium food, accessories and hygiene products for everyday pet care.

The company said the opening supports its aim of making animal healthcare more accessible. “Reaching the Abasto area, with a busy space like Fortis, allows us to fulfill our main objective: decentralizing animal healthcare and being where people need us,” Fauna Town representatives said. “We want to be the trusted partner for residents and traders in the area who seek the best medical care and the best products for their four-legged companions.”

Fauna Town said the center was designed as a safe and comfortable environment for animals and their owners. The clinic and pet shop are open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
