Fenerbahçe to have a significantly larger budget next season

Fenerbahçe's basketball team is set for a significant financial boost next season, with its budget expected to rise by at least 8 million euros to approximately 45 million euros. Turkish journalist Sercan Hamzaoglu reported that club president Aziz Yildirim has approved a plan presented by the basketball division head, Omer Onan, to increase the team's financing.

The current season's budget was between 35-37 million euros. The proposed increase aims to further strengthen the team, which has seen considerable success under coach Sarunas Jasikevicius. Since taking the helm in late 2023, Jasikevicius has led Fenerbahçe to eight titles, including the EuroLeague championship in 2025.

Fenerbahçe has been actively reinforcing its squad this summer. The team has already added EuroLeague stars Shane Larkin and Will Clyburn, along with Shavonn Shields. Additionally, Lithuanian national team guard Ignas Sargiūnas has signed a 2+1 contract with the club, signaling their ambition for continued dominance.
