FEO confident voters roll is accurate and continuously updated

The Fijian Elections Office (FEO) has affirmed its confidence in the accuracy and ongoing updates of the National Register of Voters, despite challenges posed by internal migration and urbanization. Deputy Supervisor of Elections Ana Senimoli stated that voter registration is a continuous process, with the electoral roll being updated every six months.

Senimoli explained that the FEO utilizes established verification systems and collaborates closely with key stakeholders. These include the Ministry of Immigration, the Births, Deaths and Marriages registry, and the Fiji Corrections Service. This data-sharing ensures that voter information remains clean and current right up until the writ of elections is issued.
