Fianna Fáil Members to Gather for Annual Think-In in County Offaly

Fianna Fáil’s parliamentary team will gather in County Offaly for the party’s annual think-in under the theme “Supporting People, Protecting Jobs, Improving Infrastructure.”

I am looking forward to our party think-in so that our parliamentary party members can examine our political priorities for the next Dáil term.

Taoiseach and party leader Micheál Martin said members would examine the party’s political priorities for the next Dáil term. He also pointed to the October Budget, saying Fianna Fáil remained focused on easing cost-of-living pressures for families and households during a period of sustained global volatility.

Martin said the party would maintain its focus on delivering critical infrastructure and housing. He also listed reducing income tax, childcare costs and disability costs among its priorities.

Looking ahead to the Budget in October we are committed to easing the cost-of-living pressures on families and households during this time of sustained global volatility.

At the same time, he said the government would invest in the Future Ireland Fund and the Infrastructure, Climate and Nature Fund, describing those measures as part of efforts to safeguard the country’s future.

We will retain a relentless focus on investment and the delivery of critical infrastructure and housing.
