Malaysian singer Fieya Julia is pushing back against perceptions that her recent quiet period in the music industry signals a decline in her career. She asserts that her reduced public presence is a strategic move to focus on her future stability and explore diverse income streams, including video game streaming.

"People think when I'm quiet, it means I've disappeared from the industry," Fieya shared. "But I'm still singing and working as usual. I'm just thinking more about my future life. I can't just think about singing."

Fieya, whose real name is Nur Syafiyah Sejali, emphasized that an artist's career isn't solely dependent on popularity. She highlighted the need for long-term financial planning, noting that income can fluctuate based on performance opportunities. This realization prompted her to seek alternative revenue sources.

She also mentioned a conscious effort to curate her online image, removing old photos that revealed her aurat (intimate parts) to align with her current values and desire to be a better individual.
