FIFGROUP Expands Healthy Village Program with Sanitation and Stunting Prevention Initiatives

FIFGROUP is broadening the reach of its Kampung Sehat program, aiming to enhance community well-being through improved sanitation and stunting prevention. The initiative, a corporate social responsibility effort under the FIFGROUP Sehat pillar, will adopt a more comprehensive approach by 2026.

This expansion involves developing communal wastewater treatment plants (IPAL Komunal) and the SeCanting program, which focuses on nutrition and stunting prevention. This year, IPAL Komunal projects are underway in several areas of South Jakarta and Rangkasbitung, Banten, while SeCanting targets four sub-districts in South Jakarta. The official launch of Kampung Sehat FIFGROUP 2026 took place in Ciganjur, South Jakarta.

Esther Sri Harjati, Director of FIFGROUP, stated that the program's development is part of the company's commitment to delivering broader and more sustainable benefits. "Through this program, we want to provide more comprehensive support, from creating clean and healthy environments through sanitation facilities to fulfilling nutrition and preventing stunting," she said. She expressed hope that the program would yield lasting benefits for the community and support the growth of Indonesia's youth.

Firmanudin Ibrahim, Deputy Mayor of South Jakarta, commended FIFGROUP's contribution to public health initiatives. He thanked the company for its ongoing support of government programs, including achieving Open Defecation Free status and stunting prevention through Kampung Sehat FIFGROUP. "We hope this good collaboration will continue and provide even wider benefits to the community," he added.

The IPAL Komunal project, initiated in 2020, aims to improve sanitation and promote Open Defecation Free environments. By the end of 2025, it had benefited 674 people across six locations. In 2026, the program continues with new IPAL Komunal developments in Gandaria Selatan, Ciganjur, Bangka, and Kalibata in South Jakarta, and extends to Rangkasbitung, Banten. By 2026, the total number of beneficiaries for the IPAL Komunal program is expected to reach 1,218 people.
