Fiji's Naduvalo and Ulunisau named in HSBC SVNS Team of the Year

Fiji's national rugby sevens stars, Vuiviawa Naduvalo and Reapi Ulunisau, have earned prestigious spots in the Men's and Women's HSBC SVNS Team of the Year. Naduvalo, known for his electrifying speed on the men's circuit, and Ulunisau, a standout for the Fijiana 7s team, were recognized for their exceptional performances throughout the season.

While Naduvalo was a strong contender for the Player of the Year award, the honor ultimately went to South Africa's Tristan Leyds. Leyds also secured a place in the Team of the Year alongside Naduvalo, highlighting the competitive nature of the elite sevens circuit.

The Men's HSBC SVNS Team of the Year also features other top talents, including Shilton van Wyk from South Africa, Jeremy Trevithick representing Spain, Australia's playmaker Henry Hutchison, and Luciano Gonzalez of Argentina. Additionally, Fiji-born Kele Lasaqa, playing for New Zealand, was awarded Rookie of the Year.

In the women's category, New Zealand's Jorja Miller achieved a significant milestone by being named the Women's SVNS Player of the Year for the second consecutive year, underscoring her consistent dominance in the sport.
