It was indeed chilling when we were on the set at Kota Jail. We entered the actual death row cells.

Lojong's portrayal of Maria Hadi, a character reportedly inspired by a notorious Malaysian murder case, required her to delve into dark emotional territory. The actor recounts the palpable fear and solemnity of being within the confines of the former prison, describing the experience as deeply chilling and leaving a lasting impression on everyone involved. The film's setting, the actual cells where inmates awaited their fate, adds a layer of grim authenticity that transcends mere cinematic storytelling.

She acknowledged that while she may not possess the same level of star power as some of her co-stars, the director saw the potential in her to embody the complex character of Maria.
