Paraguayan squash sensation Fiorella Gatti has powered her way into the semifinals of the Pan American Under-19 Championship, currently underway in San Salvador. Gatti showcased her dominance by defeating Mexico's Getsemani Aceves in a commanding 3-0 victory, with set scores of 11-3, 11-2, and 11-3.

Her impressive run continued as she faced the host nation's representative, María Camila Sabogal, in the quarterfinals. Gatti once again delivered a flawless performance, securing another 3-0 win with set scores of 11-3, 11-5, and 11-0. This victory propels her into the final four of the prestigious tournament.

Notably, Gatti stands as the lone competitor from South America still vying for the singles title. She is scheduled to face American player Riva Bhagwati in the semifinal round, with the match set to begin at 10:00 PM Paraguayan time. Meanwhile, fellow Paraguayan Nicole Krauch was eliminated from the singles competition after a 3-0 loss to Bhagwati.
