Fire in Tekirdağ Apartment Building Causes Panic; Kitchen Rendered Unusable

A fire in an apartment in Tekirdağ's Çorlu district caused panic among residents but was swiftly brought under control by firefighters. The blaze erupted in the kitchen of a ground-floor apartment in a four-story building on Mimar Sinan Street in Hatip Mahallesi during the afternoon.

Residents who noticed smoke billowing from the apartment immediately alerted authorities. Police, health, and fire department teams were dispatched to the scene. Firefighters intervened rapidly, bringing the situation under control and preventing the fire from spreading to other parts of the building or nearby structures.

Following the extinguishment of the flames, the fire crews conducted cooling operations within the apartment. Fortunately, there were no reported injuries or fatalities. However, the kitchen area sustained significant damage and is now unusable. An investigation has been launched to determine the exact cause of the fire.
