First female appointed to lead Nausori Airport

Fiji Airports has made significant leadership appointments, naming Siteri Goneyali Logavatu as the new Manager of Nausori International Airport. This historic appointment marks the first time a woman will lead the airport, reflecting the organization's commitment to developing local talent and enhancing operational efficiency.

Logavatu brings over 15 years of aviation experience to her new role, having held various leadership positions with Fiji Airways and Fiji Link. Most recently, she served as Fiji Airways Manager Ground Operations at Nausori Airport. She expressed humility and hope that her achievement will serve as an inspiration for young women in Fiji, encouraging them to pursue their aspirations through dedication and hard work.

In addition to Logavatu's appointment, Fiji Airports also named Usaia Kurutuba as the Manager of Outer Islands. Kurutuba will be responsible for overseeing the operations of 13 outer island airports, with a focus on safety, performance, and stakeholder engagement. He has a long history with Fiji Airports, starting as an Airport Rescue Firefighter in 2000 and becoming the organization's first firefighter to transition into airport operations management.
