First 'Road to Mecca' Pilgrims Arrive from Bangladesh

The Grand Mosque in Mecca has welcomed the vanguard of pilgrims participating in the "Road to Mecca" initiative for the 1447H Hajj season. These first arrivals, hailing from the People's Republic of Bangladesh, were met with a comprehensive service system that showcased a high level of readiness to receive them.

The initiative, a key component of the Ministry of Interior's efforts under the "Service of Guests of Allah" program, which falls within the framework of Saudi Vision 2030, ensures that all necessary entry procedures, health checks, and luggage processing are meticulously handled at the pilgrims' departure airport. This pre-emptive approach significantly eases the journey for the pilgrims.

Upon arrival, these honored guests bypass traditional immigration checkpoints and baggage collection queues. Instead, they are seamlessly guided from the aircraft to dedicated buses that transport them directly to their designated accommodations in Mecca. This streamlined process, facilitated by specially prepared pathways, guarantees smooth transit and swift arrival, allowing pilgrims to commence their spiritual journey with greater ease and comfort.

The pilgrims expressed profound satisfaction with their arrival experience, noting the ease with which they could perform Tawaf (circumambulation) around the Holy Kaaba. This seamless transition from departure to arrival exemplifies the quality of services provided, reflecting Saudi Arabia's dedication to enhancing the Hajj experience for all visitors.
