Fişekhane Open-Air Cinema to Host Sixth Season

Fişekhane Open-Air Cinema is set to welcome film enthusiasts for its sixth season, commencing on June 10 and continuing through the end of September. Organized in collaboration with World Cinezone, the event promises a rich cinematic experience every Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday.

The open-air cinema, situated around Fişekhane's historic water tower, will showcase notable films from both Turkish and international cinema. The opening night will feature Walter Salles' acclaimed film "I'm Still Here," which previously won the Oscar for Best International Feature Film.

The June program boasts an impressive lineup, including Bong Joon-ho's "Mickey 17," Nadim Güç's "Mukadderat," Wes Anderson's upcoming "The Phoenician Scheme," and Damien Chazelle's Oscar-winning "Whiplash." Other scheduled films are Kogonada's "A Big Bold Beautiful Journey," Felix Umarov's "Poet Pushkin," Mike Flanagan's "The Life of Chuck," and Ferzan Özpetek's "Diamanti."

Throughout the summer, attendees will have the opportunity to enjoy films under the stars, creating a memorable open-air cinema experience. The event aims to bring together the community for a season of diverse and celebrated cinematic works.
