Argentine rock star Fito Páez has unveiled the music video for his latest song, 'Las fuerzas armadas del amor.' The video features actress Sofía Gala and serves as a tribute to the recently deceased Argentine film director Adolfo Aristarain, a friend of Páez.

The visual narrative begins with Gala's character walking past defeated legs on a staircase, a symbolic representation of struggle. The video's concept and script were developed by Nicolás Ferrario, Ezequiel Mandelbaum, and José Fogwill, with Fogwill also directing. Beyond Gala, the video includes cameos from other notable figures in Argentine culture, such as musicians Liliana Herrero and Daniel Melingo.

'Las fuerzas armadas del amor' is a track from Páez's most recent album, 'Shine.' This album signifies a creative rebirth for the artist, following a serious accident in Madrid in 2024 where he sustained multiple fractures after falling down stairs. According to the artist's press agency, the music video encapsulates Páez's entire recovery journey, from the accident to his return to creating and producing new music.

The dedication to Adolfo Aristarain, who passed away on April 26 at the age of 82, adds a layer of personal significance to the release. Aristarain was a respected figure in Argentine cinema, and his passing marked the end of an era for many in the country's cultural scene.
