Five New Facilities Planned for Tamchy Special Financial Investment Territory by Year-End

Five new facilities are planned for completion by the end of 2026 in the business district of Kyrgyzstan's Tamchy Special Financial Investment Territory, according to its management company.

The projects include a second business center for residents, two office buildings and two residential buildings for employees of the management company. The new business center will cover 4,000 square meters, while each of the three-story residential buildings will contain 15 apartments.

Construction has also started on a complex of 21 villas for residents seeking short- or long-term accommodation. Workers are currently laying the foundations. A central square with fountains and an amphitheater is planned for presentations, meetings and other events.

The territory is also developing facilities for medical and restorative tourism in its resort and recreation zone. Tamchy was established in July 2025 on about 6,000 hectares along Lake Issyk-Kul.

Residents are offered the use of English common-law rules, a zero tax rate for 49 years and the ability to repatriate profits in full. The territory aims to register more than 3,900 companies and create over 10,000 jobs by 2035.
