Flights, a Jet and a Helicopter: What Vorcaro Offered Alexandre de Moraes, According to Federal Police

Messages, contract drafts and metadata recovered from Daniel Vorcaro’s cellphone lay out a series of benefits the former Banco Master owner allegedly offered Supreme Court Justice Alexandre de Moraes over nearly two years. The material became public on Tuesday, Sept. 1, after Justice André Mendonça lifted the confidentiality order.

The list includes two legal-fee contracts that would have brought a combined 180 million reais to the law firm of Viviane Barci de Moraes, Moraes’ wife. It also includes stakes in a private jet and a helicopter, along with plans to organize international events. Folha had previously reported that Moraes used one of the aircraft offered by Vorcaro in July 2025.

The newly disclosed documents indicate that the relationship began earlier, in 2023. Metadata identifies a user named “Ministro Alexandre de Moraes” as responsible for the final editing of a multimillion-real contract before it was signed. The extraction recovered only material sent by Vorcaro, not the responses, because the exchanges used disappearing images containing text prepared in the cellphone’s notes application.

The documents do not show in every case whether Vorcaro’s requests were accepted. One contract between Banco Master and Barci de Moraes Sociedade de Advogados was signed on Jan. 23, 2024. It called for 36 monthly net payments of 3 million reais over three years, totaling about 130 million reais, and remained in effect until November 2025, when the bank was liquidated.

Federal Police found that the account identified as “Ministro Alexandre de Moraes” made the last edits to two versions of the draft, including the final version changed at 11:04 p.m. on Jan. 15, eight days before signing. The law firm said its compliance department consulted Moraes, as the husband of its managing partner, about possible legal impediments because Banco Master cases were pending before the Supreme Court. In March 2024, Vorcaro told his financial team not to delay payment “for a single day,” calling it “the most important payment we have.”
