Food, energy, and SMEs seen as pillars of Indonesia's economic resilience

Indonesia's economic stability in the face of global uncertainty rests on strengthening its food security, advancing national energy development, and empowering its micro, small, and medium enterprises (UMKM). These sectors are seen as crucial foundations for the nation's economic resilience.

Various strategic government programs are anticipated to drive economic growth and generate employment opportunities. Pelaksana Tugas Ketua Umum Partai Bulan Bintang (PBB), Yuri Kemal Fadlullah, stated that Indonesia possesses strong capital to navigate global economic challenges through focused development in these key areas. He highlighted the "Program Makan Bergizi Gratis" (Free Nutritious Meal Program) as particularly beneficial, providing advantages to millions and creating new jobs.

Facing global economic challenges, Indonesia has strong capital through the development of food security, national energy development, and various government strategic programs, including the Free Nutritious Meal Program which is considered to benefit millions of people while opening up new job opportunities.

Fadlullah emphasized that Indonesia's robust potential lies in its agricultural capacity, energy sector development, and the strengthening of its people-centered economy. The PBB, in addition to supporting government efforts, has introduced "Gerakan Semut" (Ant Movement), an economic solidarity initiative.

This movement aims to boost the use of domestic products and bolster UMKM. It also encompasses legal aid, legal education, economic empowerment, and skills training for the youth to enhance their capabilities. Fadlullah affirmed the PBB's commitment to supporting the government and ensuring its programs effectively benefit the public, stating that policies favoring the less fortunate, honest budget oversight, and consistent presence are key to the party's success.
