Forecaster Explains Future Rain Outlook, Warns of Thunderstorms

The torrential downpour has disrupted daily life, causing approximately 22,800 households to lose power. Many residents found themselves stranded, unable to return to their homes overnight, with about 1,800 people spending the night at the Chiba Prefectural Government building.

In response to the severe weather, a special heavy rain warning for Chiba Prefecture has been downgraded to a warning for dangerous conditions. The Japan Meteorological Agency is providing updates on the weather outlook, advising caution due to the ongoing rain and the risk of thunderstorms.
