Veteran singer Wu Xue-fen is enduring the summer heat by foregoing air conditioning for the past three years, a decision driven by her need to save money. Wu revealed that the broken air conditioner at her home has not been repaired due to the cost of both the repair and the electricity. She relies on two ceiling fans and a regular fan to stay cool, admitting it is "of course hot" but manageable as she lives alone. To cope with the heat, she keeps her curtains drawn and wears only underwear. Wu humorously noted that the lack of air conditioning has led her to do daily chest-expanding exercises in front of a mirror, resulting in an unexpected increase in her bust size from A to C cups.
