Former Selangor FA Secretary General Rosman Mohd Ibrahim Dies

Rosman Mohd Ibrahim, a significant figure in Malaysian football administration, has died at the age of 58. He passed away at Hospital Shah Alam at 5:36 p.m. on the day of the report, marking the end of a long and impactful career in the sport.

Mohd Ibrahim served as the Secretary General of the Football Association of Selangor (FAS) from 2013 to 2018. During his tenure, he was deeply involved in the development and management of football within the state. His contributions extended beyond Selangor, as he also held positions within the Football Association of Malaysia (FAM).

In August 2023, he was appointed Assistant Secretary General of FAM and was also a member of the national football body's Futsal Committee. His final role was Manager of the FAM's Infrastructure and Facilities Management Unit.

His passing was announced via a statement expressing deep sorrow. The football community in Malaysia has expressed its grief, recognizing the substantial void left by his departure. He is remembered not only by his family but also by colleagues who worked alongside him in football administration.
