Dutch club Fortuna Sittard has strategically bolstered its attacking line by securing the signing of Indonesian national team striker Ole Romeny. The 26-year-old joins the Eredivisie side on a one-year loan deal from English club Oxford United.

This move signifies Romeny's return to the Dutch league, where he has previously played for clubs such as NEC Nijmegen, Willem II, FC Emmen, and FC Utrecht. Mathijsen emphasized Romeny's growth both nationally and internationally since his earlier stints in the Eredivisie.
