Four Indonesian shuttlers begin World Championships campaign in New Delhi

Four Indonesian representatives are set to begin their campaign at the 2026 BWF World Championships, held at the Indira Gandhi Stadium in New Delhi, India, starting Monday, August 17. In the men's singles, the 11th-seeded Alwi Farhan will make his debut in the round of 64 against Yoo Tae Bin of South Korea on Court 2. Alwi enters his second World Championships with increased confidence, having maximized his preparation. "I am definitely very excited to be competing in my second World Championships. I have prepared as much as possible and have nothing to fear," Alwi said. However, he acknowledged Yoo Tae Bin as a strong opponent, noting the South Korean player's recent positive performances in other tournaments.
