Four killed in head-on crash in Córdoba; another fatal accident reported

A devastating head-on collision on provincial route C-45 in Alta Gracia, Córdoba, claimed the lives of four individuals on Sunday night. The crash involved a RAM van and a Volkswagen Gol. The four victims, two women aged 34 and 39, and two men aged 23 and 42, were all passengers in the Gol. The 49-year-old driver of the RAM van survived the impact and was transported to a local health center for treatment. Initial reports indicate that three victims were deceased at the scene, with the fourth body discovered later. Emergency services confirmed all four died at the site of the incident. The cause of the collision is currently under investigation by the First Turn Prosecutor's Office of Alta Gracia. This tragic event adds to a series of fatal accidents in Córdoba, with another incident occurring the same day in Villa Allende. In that separate crash, a 22-year-old motorcyclist died after losing control of his vehicle, colliding with a curb, and then hitting a lamppost. His 24-year-old female passenger sustained injuries and was taken to the Hospital de Unquillo.
