Four killed in separate incidents across Sinaloa, Mexico; two victims are women

Four individuals lost their lives in separate violent incidents across the state of Sinaloa, Mexico. Two of the victims were women. One woman's body was discovered on the Mazatlán-Tepic highway near Tecualilla in Escuinapa municipality, showing signs of gunshot wounds. Federal and state forces responded after motorists reported the presence of the body.

In Mazatlán, police found the bodies of a man and a woman inside a makeshift home in the López Mateos neighborhood. An anonymous tip reported hearing gunshots, leading officers to the scene where they found the couple, who were not yet identified, both suffering from gunshot wounds.

Another victim, identified as Francisco Javier “N,” 38, was found on the Culiacán-El Dorado highway. He had sustained multiple gunshot wounds, and a message written on a piece of cardboard was placed with his body. Relatives identified him at the Forensic Medical Service after searching for him earlier.
