Four killed in Sinaloa, including a minor; investigator attacked

Sinaloa, Mexico – Violence continues to plague the state of Sinaloa, with four individuals losing their lives in separate incidents across Culiacán and Navolato. Authorities are investigating the shootings that have left communities shaken.

One victim, identified as Jose Joaquín “N,” 48, was found shot to death on the road near the town of Los Arredondo in Navolato. Neighbors reportedly did not witness the attack.

In Culiacán, a 19-year-old named Harol “N” was killed at a car wash business in the Colonia del mismo nombre. Another young person was fatally shot inside a home in the Aguaruto area of the state capital.

On a dirt road on the southern outskirts of Culiacán, a young person was discovered with gunshot wounds and signs of blunt force trauma. Additionally, a 14-year-old boy, Luis Ángel “N,” died from his injuries at the Sinaloa Pediatric Hospital after being shot along with another 20-year-old, also named Luis Ángel “N,” in the Infonavit Cañadas neighborhood. An investigation into the minor's death has been opened.
