Foxtron Offers Free Maintenance for Up to 60,000 Kilometers on EV Models

Foxtron, the electric vehicle arm of Hon Hai Technology Group (Foxconn), is launching a special promotion in Taiwan to boost sales of its CAVIRA and BRIA models. The limited-time offer, valid until August 31, provides complimentary regular maintenance services for up to 60,000 kilometers for customers who purchase and register eligible vehicles.

This initiative covers three scheduled maintenance intervals at 20,000, 40,000, and 60,000 kilometers, with all labor and parts costs borne by the manufacturer. Foxtron estimates the total value of this maintenance package to be around NT$14,900 (approximately $460 USD). The company aims to alleviate potential buyers' concerns regarding the long-term maintenance costs associated with electric vehicles.

In addition to the maintenance perk, buyers will continue to benefit from existing government incentives for electric vehicles in Taiwan, including exemptions from license plate tax and fuel surcharges until the end of 2030. These combined benefits significantly lower the overall cost of ownership, making Foxtron's EVs more attractive in the Taiwanese market. The CAVIRA models also feature V2L (Vehicle-to-Load) external power supply capabilities, enhancing their utility for daily life and outdoor activities.
