Francisco Cerúndolo advances to Queen's Club quarterfinals after defeating Jenson Brooksby

Argentinian tennis player Francisco Cerúndolo secured a spot in the quarterfinals of the ATP 500 Queen's Club Championships in London with a dominant performance on Wednesday. The world No. 27 defeated American Jenson Brooksby in just over an hour, with a final score of 6-0, 6-4.

Cerúndolo, the seventh seed in the tournament, controlled the match from the outset. He broke Brooksby's serve in the opening game and went on to win the first set without conceding a single game. The momentum continued into the second set, where Cerúndolo quickly established another break to lead 5-2 and held serve for the match.

Despite Cerúndolo's strong play, Brooksby showed resilience, managing to win two consecutive games to narrow the deficit before ultimately falling. The match concluded with Cerúndolo sealing the victory in one hour and twenty-three minutes on the grass courts of London.

In the quarterfinals, Cerúndolo is scheduled to face British wildcard Arthur Fery. Fery advanced to this stage after defeating France's Adrian Mannarino in his own match, winning 7-6(7) and 6-4.
