Free Beatles tribute concert to be held in Mexico City

Fans of The Beatles in Mexico City are invited to a free tribute concert celebrating the iconic Liverpool quartet. The event promises to bring beloved classics like "Hey Jude," "Let It Be," and "Yesterday" to life in the heart of the historic center.

Scheduled for Sunday, August 16, the concert will begin at 2:00 PM in Plaza Manuel Tolsá, located at Tacuba 8, in the Cuauhtémoc borough, near the National Museum of Art. The performance is part of the Tlahuac Fest in its symphonic format and is open to the public at no cost.

The musical tribute will be delivered by Los Big Bens, a Mexican rock band known for their renditions of songs by Paul McCartney, John Lennon, George Harrison, and Ringo Starr. The band is expected to play a selection of fan favorites, including "Here Comes the Sun," "All You Need Is Love," and "Yellow Submarine."

Organized by the Autoridad del Centro Histórico (ACH), the concert aims to offer a vibrant cultural experience for the city. The ACH encouraged attendance via its Instagram account, inviting everyone to "come and not miss this experience!"
