From Cleaner to CEO: Lithuanian woman's 'unusual' career path leads to success

Goda Pečulīte, originally from Lithuania, defied expectations when she took a job as a cleaner to supplement her income after graduating with a finance degree. While her family and friends encouraged her to find a "normal" job more aligned with her education, Pečulīte pursued her path, eventually founding her own cleaning company, "Balti namai."

Pečulīte's career began not with a grand entrepreneurial dream, but with a need for extra money. After working in publishing and feeling unsatisfied with her salary, she noticed an advertisement for a cleaner. Despite arriving for the interview dressed in office attire, which surprised the employer, she secured the position.
