Frontline City Kostyantynivka's Population Plummets to 867 Amid Ukraine Conflict

The Ukrainian city of Kostyantynivka, situated on the front lines of the conflict in the Donetsk region, has experienced a devastating population collapse. Once home to 67,000 people, the city now shelters a mere 867 residents, a stark testament to the ongoing war's impact.

This dramatic reduction in population underscores the perilous conditions faced by civilians in areas close to active combat zones. The dwindling number of inhabitants reflects widespread displacement as people flee the dangers of shelling and the general insecurity that pervades the region.
