FRSC Sector Commander in Enugu dies

The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has announced the passing of its Enugu State Sector Commander, Corps Commander Franklin Agbakoba. The sad news was confirmed in a statement released Friday by the FRSC Deputy Corps Commander in charge of Enugu State Operations, Kyrian Okolo.

According to the statement, the Enugu State Sector Command received the news of Agbakoba's demise on Thursday, July 30. The late Sector Commander died at the Niger Foundation Hospital in Enugu, where he had been undergoing treatment. His remains have since been transferred to the Eastern Medical Centre in Enugu.

Until his death, Corps Commander Agbakoba was noted for his dedication to fostering inter-agency collaboration and partnerships. He was also recognized for his commitment to promoting road safety initiatives within Enugu State. The FRSC statement did not provide further details regarding the circumstances of his death.
