Fubara to inaugurate 10 projects

Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara is set to launch 10 significant projects across the state, marking a new phase of development initiatives. The inauguration period is scheduled from August 17 to August 31, signaling the administration's focus on tangible progress and grassroots transformation.

The Secretary to the Rivers State Government, Dagogo Wokoma, announced that these projects span multiple local government areas and include crucial infrastructure such as roads, bridges, healthcare facilities, and educational institutions. Wokoma highlighted these projects as concrete evidence of the governor's dedication to improving the lives of residents and addressing their developmental needs.

The project inaugurations, which would run from August 17 to August 31, would cover projects across several local government areas, including roads, bridges, healthcare facilities, educational infrastructure and other public facilities.

The commissioning begins with the Buguma-Degema-Abonnema Road, a vital link connecting communities in Asari-Toru, Degema, and Akuku-Toru local government areas. Subsequent inaugurations include the Egwi-Afara-Mba Road in Etche on August 18, Omademe Internal Roads in Ikwerre on August 20, and the New Air Force Base Runway in Port Harcourt on August 21.

The schedule continues with the Elele-Egbeda-Omoku Dual Carriageway, which traverses Ikwerre, Emohua, and Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni local government areas, on August 24. The following days will see the commissioning of the Captain Elechi Amadi Polytechnic Entrepreneurship Centre and Engineering Faculty Building on August 25, the Agba-Ndele Road and Bridge on August 26, and the New Zonal Hospital, Omoku, on August 27. The program concludes on August 31 with the inauguration of the Bonny National Grammar School in Bonny Local Government Area, following the commissioning of two major health facilities in Obio/Akpor on August 28.
