[FULL LIST] EPL: Arsenal confirm players’ jersey numbers for 2026/27

Arsenal has unveiled its squad numbers for the upcoming 2026/27 English Premier League season, confirming the jersey assignments for new signings and reflecting changes within the team.

New arrivals Bruno Guimaraes, Christos Tzolis, and Illan Meslier have been allocated their shirt numbers. Guimaraes will wear No. 39, a number significant to him as it matches his father's taxi number in Brazil. Tzolis takes the No. 17 shirt, previously worn by Oleksandr Zinchenko and famously by Alexis Sanchez and Emmanuel Petit. Meslier will don the No. 30, a number last seen with Raheem Sterling in the 2024/25 season and previously associated with Eddie Nketiah and Yossi Benayoun.

The club's announcement highlighted that the departures of players like Jakub Kiwior, Christian Norgaard, and Leandro Trossard have left numbers 15, 16, and 19 vacant. Additionally, numbers 25, 26, 27, and 28 have been unoccupied for several seasons. The club stated that these changes reflect the "rejigging of our squad numbers, with some left vacant while others have stepped in to add to each shirt’s history."
