FUTA EV Power and BYD Auto Vietnam partner to develop EV charging infrastructure

FUTA EV Power, a subsidiary of FUTA Group, and BYD Auto Vietnam have officially partnered to develop electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure in Vietnam. The memorandum of understanding, signed on June 28, marks a significant step towards promoting green transportation and accelerating the energy transition within the country.

This collaboration leverages the strengths of both entities in charging infrastructure and EV technology. FUTA EV Power will gain access to advanced international technological standards, enhancing its capabilities in investing, operating, and developing EV charging stations. For BYD Auto Vietnam, a global leader in new energy vehicles and battery technology, the partnership is expected to improve its service offerings and cater to the growing demand for electric vehicles in Vietnam.

The agreement focuses on optimizing the charging system and enhancing the overall user experience for EV owners. Both companies will explore opportunities to connect and share charging infrastructure, making charging more accessible. They will also collaborate on researching and developing cutting-edge battery technologies, energy storage systems, and modern charging infrastructure to meet the increasing demand for electric mobility.

FUTA EV Power is expanding its nationwide charging network, aiming for a modern, safe, and convenient system for individuals and transport businesses. The network is designed to accommodate not only private electric cars but also larger commercial vehicles, buses, trucks, and specialized electric transport in the future. This initiative is a crucial part of building a comprehensive green energy and electric vehicle ecosystem in Vietnam.
