Abdullah Kavukçu, a figure associated with the club's transfer dealings, also became a target of fan criticism. Thousands of Galatasaray supporters flooded his Instagram account with angry comments, prompting him to temporarily deactivate his profile. This backlash stems from Kavukçu's earlier statements after a 3-3 draw with Rennes, where he assured fans that he was responsible for transfers and promised significant additions to the squad.
