Galatasaray to Improve Contracts for Key Players Uğurcan Çakır and Abdülkerim Bardakcı

Galatasaray's management is taking significant steps to reward two pivotal players who contributed to the team's championship title: Uğurcan Çakır and Abdülkerim Bardakcı. According to TRT Spor, captain Abdülkerim Bardakcı is slated for a substantial 50% raise in his salary. His current guaranteed annual earnings of 90 million Turkish Lira are expected to increase to 135 million Lira. Furthermore, the club plans to extend his contract, which is set to expire in 2027, by an additional two years.

Uğurcan Çakır, the team's experienced goalkeeper, is also in line for a significant financial boost. His guaranteed annual fee of 100 million Turkish Lira is anticipated to rise to 200 million Lira. While his salary is set to double, an extension to his current contract is not expected at this time.

The club aims to finalize these contract agreements with both players after the upcoming World Cup. These moves underscore Galatasaray's commitment to retaining its core talent and building upon their recent success.
