Gaza Reports Over 4,000 Israeli Ceasefire Violations, Citing Heavy Palestinian Casualties

The government media office in Gaza announced that Israeli forces have committed 4,091 violations of the ceasefire agreement during the first 300 days since its inception. These alleged violations have led to a tragic toll, with 1,254 Palestinians killed and 4,121 others injured. Additionally, 159 Palestinians have been arrested since the agreement took effect.

In a statement released on Thursday, the office highlighted that these violations coincide with ongoing obstruction of humanitarian aid and strict restrictions on Palestinian movement at the Gaza border. Israel has reportedly allowed only 35% of the scheduled humanitarian and food aid trucks to enter Gaza, and only 39% of registered individuals to leave through the Rafah border crossing.

The Gaza media office strongly condemned what it described as Israel's "systematic policy to target and annihilate the Palestinian people." It called for the occupying power to be held fully responsible for the deteriorating humanitarian conditions in the Gaza Strip. The office also urged mediators and guarantors of the ceasefire to exert pressure on Israel to fulfill its obligations completely.

Despite the ceasefire, Israeli military forces reportedly continued operations across the Gaza Strip on Thursday. Reports indicate that Israeli military vehicles fired heavily in southern Al-Mawasi and west of Khan Younis, injuring one Palestinian. Israeli artillery also bombarded areas northeast of Gaza, while tanks fired on the northern Al-Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza.
